RO membrane alkaline scrubbing is a chemical cleaning process applied to reverse osmosis systems to remove organic contaminants, biological fouling, and oil/protein-based residues that accumulate on membrane surfaces. This scrubbing method plays a critical role in recovering performance losses, especially in systems with high biofilm formation and organic load.
